The estate of Prof. Manfred Schröter (*1880 - †1973) covers the period from 1898 to 1972. It contains documents from his teaching and research activities at the TH München as well as personal documents and literary works. In 1937, Prof. Manfred Schröter's teaching assignment was revoked by the NS regime due to 'Nepotism.' In 1946, he was able to continue his teaching assignment as an honorary professor at the Faculty of General Sciences and taught philosophy and history of technology until 1955. Prof. Manfred Schröter is the son of Moritz Schröter, Professor of Theoretical Mechanical Engineering at the TH München.
