The professional estate of Prof. Walther Fischer (*1889 – †1945) spans from 1914 to 1933. It mainly contains documents from his doctoral studies at the Machine Laboratory of the Technical University of Danzig and from his teaching activities there at the Chair of Heat Management, to which he was appointed in 1922. In 1933, Prof. Fischer was appointed to the full professorship of technical brewing operations management at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan.
