The private estate of Prof. Schultz (*1851 - †1928) covers the period from 1870 to 1896. It includes documents related to his teaching and research activities, personal papers, and professional correspondence. In 1886, Gustav Schultz was appointed to the professorship of chemical technology at the TH Munich, which he held until his retirement in 1926. During his tenure, the Chemical-Technical Institute was rebuilt. In addition to his university work, he authored the famous 'Colorant Tables,' which served as the international standard work on color chemistry for decades.
