The student's private estate of Motschmann spans from 1918 to 2001. It includes study materials from his architecture studies from 1941 to 1949 at the TH Munich, as well as documents from his later professional life as an architect. Personal documents, such as a war diary, also provide a personal insight into Motschmann's military service during World War II (1942-1945) while he was a student.
