The service estate of Prof. Hupfauer covers the period from 1901 to 1990. It contains documents from his tenure at Alfa-Laval, materials from his teaching activities at the TH Munich, as well as collaboration with the German Museum, school certificates, and personal correspondence. Prof. Hupfauer completed his mechanical engineering studies at the TH Munich in 1925. From 1946, he assumed the leadership of the Bavarian State Institute for Agricultural Engineering and gave lectures on agricultural machinery as an honorary professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Weihenstephan. For his contributions, he received notable awards such as the Federal Cross of Merit, the Gold State Medal, and the Bavarian Order of Merit.
