The professional estate of Prof. Ulrich Grigull (*1912 - †2003) spans from 1965 to 1999. It contains documents related to his activities as a full professor and institute director at the Chair of Thermodynamics, to which he was appointed in 1961, as well as materials pertaining to his tenure as rector and president of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In 1972, Prof. Grigull was elected as the rector of TUM and served in this capacity until his appointment as president in 1976.
