The preliminary estate of Prof. Oswald Giering (*1933) spans from 1954 to 1992. It contains study materials from Prof. Giering's mathematics studies at the Technical University of Stuttgart and from his mechanical engineering studies at the Technical University of Munich. Additionally, it includes documents from his later teaching and research activities as a professor at the Chair of Geometry and Visualization, which Prof. Giering held from 1972 to 2001 at the Technical University of Munich.
