The professional estate of the former student, professor, and rector of the Technical University of Munich, Prof. Horst Engerth (*1914 - †2003), spans from 1921 to 1965. It mainly contains documents from Prof. Engerth's studies in mechanical engineering and brewing, as well as occasional materials from his later tenure as the chairholder of Mechanical Engineering and Energy Management in Brewing, which he held from 1954 until his appointment as rector in 1968.
