The private partial estate of Prof. Raum (*1883 – †1976) spans from 1899 to 1977. It contains documents related to the history of Weihenstephan, professional correspondence, and personal records, including certificates and photographs. Prof. Raum studied agriculture at the TH in Munich and obtained his doctorate in 1906. In 1921, he was appointed to the professorship of agriculture at the University of Agriculture and Brewing in Weihenstephan until he was retired in 1934 due to political reasons. After the end of World War II, he was reinstated in 1946 as a full professor and director of the Institute of Field and Plant Cultivation in Weihenstephan.
